Why is the stock dropping after such a strong report?
  • C

When analyzing the growth of sales in the last 10 years, an average of 12% per year is obtained, which is equivalent to a growth in profits of 27% per year... I would say that it is a purchase opportunity...

The western states are running out of water! Swimming pools will soon not be allowed to fill up. And new pools will not be allowed soon too. When it gets down to water to drink, shower, flush toilet, brush your teeth, cooking, filling a pool is last on the list. Water monitoring will become very strict with severe penalties soon. Read up on lake Mead and Powell. They are draining fast! POOL's stock is going to get hammered the next few years as the scarcity of water turns into panic. Pools and golf courses will be eliminated. Do your own research.

Used to own POOL, but when I started to research about the rapidly dropping water levels in reservoirs Mead and Powel, I realized that the west is quickly running out of water!! So, when water becomes scarce and strict monitoring is initiated, things like pools and acres of golf course lawns will be prohibited. That's another reason money is moving out of pool supply companies. Due your own due diligence and be informed. Pool had a great run while there was plenty of water available.

I am staying far away from POOL - It looks like it is going to drop off a cliff. I actually get way better stocks at (http://Themaxgains.tech)

    Fundamentals:

    People are moving South.

    The South is warm.

Pools take a lot of maintenance.

80% of revenue is maintenance or improvement related.

The industry is fragmented by a large number of mom and pop pool supply stores. POOL buys smaller players and gains market share.

I’m in for the long haul or until the fundamentals change.

It's great to see someone else benefiting from Owen j winner services, it's really a small world. He has been my portfolio manager and also my mentor for 2 years and he still counts and I make my profit of $37, 795 on my original amount of $1050 with him managing my portfolio

Fairly good earnings report and POOL tanks by almost 50 bucks, smh

California and many of the western states are running out of water. The restrictions on water usage will only increase as reservoirs lake Powell and Mead continue to dry up. My point is when it comes down to drinking water, showering or flushing your toilet, pool water will be forbidden along with all the golf course lawn watering. Pool earnings, profits and revenue will get hammered. Water restrictions are just getting started. This is not a buying opportunity or buy the dip moment.

Hi all. The cold snap in the south has resulted in millions or more in damage to pool equipment. Parts are sold out in the south. This is a boom to the pool business.

Can anyone explain why the stock did poorly today after crushing earnings numbers. Thank you in advance.

Anyone out there following this stock? I think it can go to $300.00 post earnings. An insider told me that sales are through the roof, and supply can barely keep up with demand. Apparantly since regular vacations are out this year, many are buying or upgrading their pools.
