Postmedia Network Inc. (“Postmedia”) today announced the creation of a digital ad registry that will be compliant with the Canada Elections Act (“Act”), and amendments brought under Bill C-76, the Elections Modernization Act including the new online platform requirements. Bill C-76 requires digital platforms accepting regulated political advertising to maintain and publish a digital ad registry of such advertising. Postmedia’s ad registry will be in effect as of June 30, 2019 as required under the legislation.
