    This is definitely a long-term play. Their revenue for next year is undoubtedly going to take a hit because of the renegotiation of one of their long-term contracts. However, during the earnings call, they mentioned that they’re looking for larger acquisitions/projects in South Am which will lead to higher revenues later on down the line. Definitely gonna load up on this a bit more.

    This is insanely undervalued. Morningstar's price target is CAD17.22/share, while US analysts put it at:

    "The most optimistic Polaris Infrastructure analyst has a price target of US$25.27 per share, while the most pessimistic values it at US$25.12. With such a narrow range of valuations, the analysts apparently share similar views on what they think the business is worth."

    Happy to see Polaris finally being recognized as the great investment it is. To me it would make sense for Brookfield Renewables to purchase it and I think there is a deal in the works. Any other ideas?

    An owner of undervalued green power generation assets in the Americas. Polaris owns a variety of geothermal and run-of-river power generation assets in the Americas which generate steady earnings for power sales as well as sale of carbon credits. The company has a record of steadily rising earnings and dividends, all the while it trades at a huge discount to other green power generators at just 7 times EBITDA along with an attractive 4.4 per cent dividend yield.

    They just purchased infrastructure in Peru I believe. There has been political issues of late in that country which along with the financing of the investment might be a drag on the stock There is also political issues in Nicaragua where they have geothermal generation projects operating and expanding. Geopolitical risk or something else? Not sure …. really like the company.

    I couldn't find why this dropped while other clean energy companies actually went up. It just seems like a good buying opportunity, but am I wrong?

    Simply Wall Street article is very misleading and somewhat irresponsible. I don't know why the regulators don't take these companies to task when they post misleading headlines. There article said there were four analyst downgrades. I couldn't fine one. I reached out and asked who they were, don't hear back. I am beginning to think it was a lie simply to create fear so people would sign up for there service. disgraceful.

    once geothermal plants built their only real expense is maintenance. Talking heads downgraded the stock without realizing this.
