Great earnings and super guidance, “We are increasing our 2022 diluted earnings per share guidance to $5.15 to $5.45 in light of first quarter results and the forecast for the remainder of 2022, driven by currently expected performance in our Plastics segment.”

The infrastructure law supplies almost $50 billion to EPA for improving our nation’s drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. I have been picking up shares of OTTR for the last 3 months and some of the water utility companies (AWK, CWT, MSEX, SJW & YORW) as they drop lower. I bet OTTR gets an upgrade this week, any thoughts.

OTTR continues to have a shareholder focus that matches up against the realities of a non-coal energy production capability. Naturally, it never hurts to have Mr. Gate's fund as a long shareholder. The recent announcement regarding the Merricourt wind farm project continues to support OTTR's balanced energy production goals. Buy it, hold it, ignore all the media and market place noise. Find a nice corner in your investment portfolio for OTTR and forget about it. I did, 20 years ago.

This is a very old company based in Minnesota where I was born and raised. It won't make you rich, but you'll be happy you bought it over the long haul.

What a great quarter. This stock holder likes the mix of businesses and the investment in wind power generation. Time will tell if the substantial contribution of the plastic pipe division is transitory. Good luck to all.

Great quarter OTTR. The Merricourt Project is now poised to begin contribution to earnings and the renewable story. Add the Hoot Lake solar project into the existing grid and you have two nice wins occuring within the next 12 month earnings run rate. Management has a steady hand on the direction of the Utility and a growing Midwest economy to profit from. Today's 7.16% move was the strongest percentage in my 10 figure portfolio. My grandkids thank you.

Time to re-balance in this crazy market. I am moving some money from Bonds to Utilities like Ottr. Nice dividend along with growth potential.

Just writing to get something said about this stock. Great stock for the long run. Surprised it is not being mentioned or posted on more.

OTTR cleared $50 today, well in advance of Q3-end. Perhaps $54 by year-end.

Mad Max - Look to MO (Altria) for a solid dividend greater than 7%. However, you will need to turn a blind eye to their business model.

An equal weighting of MO and a hand-picked Utilities portfolio will yield average total dividends far greater than any bond fund - now or into the future. The balance also keeps the dollars in the market, available to capture possible capital appreciation opportunities. OTTR has been a holding in my utilities portfolio since 2008.

We will see how Otter's 2.3% annual dividend stacks up in higher interest rate environment. Series-I savings bonds currently pay 7.12% (variable). When held 5 years. State tax free. Maximum purchase $10,000 per calendar year. Got plenty more than that in OTTR right now.

Bad day for the Dow, but utilities holding up well.

OTTR has been a solid investment over the past 20 years. You don’t get rich quick owning utilities. But good to have a few shares of utilities in a portfolio

Friday was a big daily move for a regional utility (3.36%), supported by higher volumes. Management's past decisions continue to pave the way for today's advances. Plan your work, work your plan. It will be interesting to see who are the largest OTTR investors at YE. There may be some new names on the list.

$71.51 interday high today. Already greatly exceeded my YE expectations. Happy holidays all.

I have had OTTR on my investing radar for several years now and have finally (since October) just started buying for our IRAs. The $898 million reinvestment plan for the 2020-2024 period sounds impressive, 34% for upgrading (WOW) transmission and distribution lines. Another nice gem to add to my utilities (ARTNA, YORW, MSEX, UTL) portfolio group. I found an article (Nov 4th) about OTPC in the T&D newsletter site, their site has some good info for the utility investor that wants to get the latest scoop on innovative industry happenings. I really appreciate the postings from some of the long-time investors and especially the investors that live in Minnesota, great/helpful info! Good luck & great investing!
