Looks like it will trade between 33-34 for a while, news that all or the majority of operators have returned to paying will launch ohi above 40 IMO

Easy money here. Where are all the guys calling for $20? $35-$40 sounds more like it. The share buy backs and the 10% that most are getting as div are reassuring. Gives time until the dems are ousted and Americans finally get a real leader that doesn’t cut healthcare. See you at $60 by 2024?

With the latest price move, Zor should be getting real close to being able exit his position in OHI without a loss!!!
    Happy days for all!!!

Little drop after hours but…. I didn’t think it was that bad 🤷🏼‍♂️

They did a good job selling those assets and it looks like progress was made on some of the operators in default.

Plus…. A couple good investments at 12%, including a stake in a hospital acquisition.

Very happy to be long here!

Employment in health care rose by 70,000 in July. Job gains occurred in ambulatory health
care services (+47,000), hospitals (+13,000), and nursing and residential care facilities
(+9,000). Employment in health care overall is below its February 2020 level by 78,000,
    or 0.5 percent.
This was taken from last week’s job report. It looks like one of Omega’s concerns are being addressed.

Taylor Pickett, Omega’s Chief Executive Officer, stated, “The second quarter saw sequential improvement in both Adjusted FFO and FAD, as some restructured operators returned to paying their contractual rent obligations. However, our financial results continue to be impacted by nonpayment of rent by a few operators and, with both facility occupancy and profitability still meaningfully below pre-pandemic levels, the risk of further operator issues remains.”
Mr. Pickett continued, “Still, we remain constructive on the longer-term opportunities within this industry. The portfolio is seeing steady growth in occupancy, with the labor market also showing signs of improving. Further, we continue to see strong appetite for our assets, as evidenced by the robust transaction market, and we believe the long-term financial impact to the business from the resolution of these operator issues should be relatively modest.”

Nice job Managements. Keep that slow but steady capital appreciation going and churn out that far dividend. Happy to be along for the ride. Looking forward to the 15th!!

Omega should pay down some long-term debt. Add cash to the balance sheet for rough times.

We're already a lock on the dividend and I have invested in and followed the price movement for years. 28 to 34 is the most common range. Only deviation, March 2020 crash, got to 16 if I recall correctly.

I would not be surprised if an announcement of a SO comes out soon. That's usually how these months long rallies end...Still, dilution aside, I eould not mind OHI having some extra cash around to invest into the business.

Well you know it’s a good sign if Zor isn’t on here complaining although if he does it will definitely prove my theory of his short position
