I started following "lionstock-aletrs” (Gooogle it - off course without any space or dash in between the words) and their notifications are better than anyone else.

    Sector Reports
Natwest Group says its staff will work from home until 2021
Natwest Group PLC (NYSE:NWG) with a float short of 0.12% looks bullish. The Royal Bank of Scotland changed its name to NatWest Group thus effectively removing the name Scotland from the company’s name since it was established in 1727. The company will still be headquartered in Edinburg but the name change doesn’t affect RBS bank branches or Ulster Banks located in Northern Ireland. RBS had hinted about the name change in February when it reported annual results.
RBS has told it’s over 50,000 UK banking staff that they will not go back to the office until 2021 even after UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that people can return to their workplace. The banking group said that staff that has been working from home will continue working from home until next year.

great buying opportunity 7% drop for a name change lol while doubling profits and good dividends

My sympathies to those counting on the div. payment. However, the move to cut the dividend will help this bank survive and will help the share price rise much faster. The dividend will return soon after this virus subsides.

    back to $12 in 2019?

I bought 2,000 shares around $6 before the covid 19 crisis and then bought 1,000 shares today.
With all the money the EU is puting as stimulus, I am buying UK and German Banks. I bought Deutsche banks and Commerz Bank.
How do you guys feel about those 3 stocks?

so frustrating owning this stock. post a decent profit share price falls. there's no upside to holding this but I'm invested heavy. what to do?????

Regular interim dividend of 2 pence plus a special dividend of 12 pence coming, that is about 17 US cents/share in the UK.
The ADR equals two shares, so 34 US cents per ADR. Nice! At current price of 4.975 it is an immediate interest of 6.8%. A good deal in my opinion!

If the latest Brexit positive news is not going to move RBS upward, then nothing will move this one...jumped in @ $5.99 and let's hope and see...

If the Labour party does not get to power this will go to the moon, $9-$10 easy. It has improved consistently since 2008 and shareholders have suffered enough. Go RBS!
  • B
RBS is best capitalised bank. It has £78bn worth of cash and its CET1 stands at 16.2%, the highest of any of ‘the big five’ banks. I think it is good buy opportunity.

This looks tempting, but with all this Brexit stuff going on and these ministers resigning, I'm not so sure. All I know is that Jeremy Corbyn would be a catastrophe for the U.K.
