Well today marks like the hundredth time I wish I had bought more national bank.
Good earnings, nice dividend increase (23% is so far the largest out of the big banks), and a "meh" share buy back...
overall good earnings and great news! we are finally at 3.5% yield compared to our old 2.8%
Stocks go up and down but based on the news I'm very confused why we're still going down :/
National Bank earnings will be best of all Canadian banks. the highest dividend in the bank space. stock will split again in 2022. Record revenues and profits in capital markets, wealth management compared to all other five banks . for those that hold this stock since the last five years know about it from a bank that had to cut their dividend and make massive cuts a decade ago.
I’m wondering if dividend increase announcement will be made in December
Yeah....i will make 0.64$ more next years and lose 2.15$ today
See this confuses me. NA has the smallest payout ratio compared to all the banks (BMO being right behind it), yet its performing "meh" compared to TD's recent run and BMO's performance over the last few weeks...
Investors realize NA will give the largest amount of a dividend increase right?
is this just because of the smaller yield NA gives compared to its peers?
I'm so confused...
I've been all in on BMO. Happy with ROI this year but then I saw how National is doing. Anyone know why it's doing the best by far among the big 6?
I hope we’ll get a little dividend raise soon exciting news for the canadian banks!!
So a stock split is likely to happen (yeah downvote me you know I'm right). NA did a split in 2014 when its stock was only $90.. well its done a few share buybacks since then, and has ran past its old "Split price". We could see a split coming soon, or in a few years :/
Best stock around.
are peoples actually buying this at 95$?
Liberal win is weighing down bank stocks. Get ready for higher tax and lower dividends
Catching up with the others soon. Time to buy now and do not regret later.
How about a stock split?
National Bank of China
Not much ppl follow this stock, too bad. This was one of my first investment when I started 10 years ago. The return was good and so was the dividend. This is the kind of stock I can sleep on with no worries!
ok. Transferring my trading account to national bank!
Yeah its $0 commissions but they charge $100 in annual fees and $39 for basic quotes...
