The dividend for NCZ is nearing 13%! My bank pays 0.4%. Seems like a good way to generate a steady stream of cash with little downside. I've owned NCZ for a few years now and every month get a fat dividend.

    What am I missing?

Yet the similar sister fund NCV maintained and declared its divvy

they'll probably reduce the distribution. They,we are down a rabbit hole. I owned it about 4 years. I had to bail. good luck to all.

Can someone knowledgeable explain to me how ROC effects investing in this fund? Does it mean the distribution really isn't 13%+ at today's pps? My accountant doesn't seem to know much about ROC.
    Thanks.

The ncv's and ncz"s hold corporate bonds at a fixed interest rate. Fluxiations do not mater much as the bond's interest and pay out stays the same unlike a stock , NCZ can count on having money to pay the distributions because bonds throw off with certainty sum of money . And they have many bonds paying almost daily some interest. Ncz and NCV are some of the most safest investments on the planet

Allianz issued a press release this morning saying that they are reneging on the April dividend that was declared March 2, so no payday today.

I don't like the dividend cut and I like this drop in share price even less but if you buy shares tomorrow at under 5:39 it's stil around a 10% dividend yield .... it's still an attractive investment and I'm going to buy more shares tomorrow

This is a steal below $6.00! With the Fed raising rates, over the next 18 months, we will get back to historical norms on the yields. This will lead to better bond yields and to an increase in the monthly distribution for NCZ/NCV. I am betting on a .065c, up from the .0575c on NCZ by Q3 of 2019. This is all predicated on the Fed and just my opinion, but my nearly 19k shares show my conviction.
