Additionally, it is involved in the precision machining and assembly of commercial aerospace products supply and overhaul of aircraft and helicopter engines and airborne ancillary power units; and provision of metal finishing treatment services for aerospace products, as well as aircraft engineering and design consultancy, engine sales, exchange, and leasing services. The company was formerly known as Fleet Aerospace Corporation and changed its name to Magellan Aerospace Corporation in October 1996.
