KSS, DDS, BBBY all flat or down and Macy's is up. This is a good sign for the stock today. Getting past the $24 mark would be a very nice Friday gift.

Macy's announced plans to hire approximately 76,000 full- and part-time colleagues at its Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury stores, call centers and distribution and fulfillment centers. Approximately 48,000 of these roles are for the holiday season, while the remaining roles are permanent opportunities to join the Macy's, Inc. team on a part- or full-time basis for the holidays and beyond. "Macy's, Inc. colleagues are the foundation of the best-in-class shopping experience that customers know and love from our brands, whether they're shopping in store, online or on our mobile apps," said Danielle Kirgan, Macy's, Inc. chief transformation and human resources officer. "We are proud to provide colleagues with ample opportunities and resources to grow in a dynamic, collaborative and inclusive environment during the holidays and every day of the year. Macy's, Inc. offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, optional overtime and additional incentives whether a colleague is joining our team to temporarily supplement their income and benefit from our merchandise discount or to help shape the future of an iconic retailer through a more permanent position."

@ $30 we're undervalued. The street is 6 months behind the curve likely because of its addiction to high p/e, technology stocks. Buy.

Macy's may go to 42 in 4 to 12 months, (my target price for the next 12 months).

read between the lines folks, Macy's is hiring about the same amount of people this holiday as it did the last 3 years with MUCH fewer stores so what does that tell you how M is doing? Also they have said of the 76,000 holiday hires they are looking to keep 28,000 on board as permanent!

M is back to the point it was at in July 2019. People that were in at that time are thinking, THANK GOODNESS. and they are selling out even. Once those folks are done selling, M can resume up to $30. If by a miracle it makes it to $40, the people that bought in July 2018 will start bailing out, thinking they never thought they would see the day again. Those poor folks watched their investment go from $40 to $4!

I was down $70K on 30k shares as of 9/3/21. Had to put a ton of cash in to cover a huge margin call. Bailed out today even!!!! What a comeback. Now back to trading...

Figure the $3.40 EPS estimated next year is light by 30%, meaning $40 is a reasonable pt. Buy as much as you you like under $25. Macy's is back stronger, smarter, and with a more profitable business model.

I see the US is going to start allowing vaccinated foreign travelers into the country start in November. This should be a positive for M during the holiday season as foreign visitors buy a lot of clothing as it is a bargain here compared to overseas.

A close above Aug high 23.59, currently at 23.61, is a technical bullish break out.

Obviously, we have stubborn shorts in Macy's lol. Not to worry, they'll fold as sure as day the closer we get to 11/17/2021. Bank on that. Buy.

The economy below the one with eyeballs glued to a cell phone is the real economy. That economy starts at Macy's, Bloomingdales, and Blue Mercury this holiday season. Any questions? Buy.
