Estimating a GAAP loss of ($0.55) next quarter - annual stock gifts over $75 million - why???

Compant has been struggling for years trying to be profitable - obviously not happening yet.

All the non-profit vapor stocks are being hit - and for good reasons.

    Long Term
Rotation to real companies is certainly hurting the vapor stocks.

Strong earnings report next week will continue this great story. In it since $16. Sold half at $34 and keeping the rest since LPSN is poised to continue growing or be acquired. GLTA

Almost 40% of the float is held by 5 Institutions. BlackRock and Fido have 25%. (This is why I've been referencing the Dec updates as they come in) Check the Major Holders on the page above; 114.29% of float held by Institutions with 8% by Insiders. Anyone short has been smacked recently.

LiveEngage platform gives LivePerson a competitive advantage and the company could benefit from “the emerging conversational commerce trend and consumers' increasing preference for messaging over voice to engage with brands.”

Shares of technology companies that serve consumers at home could come out as a winner amid fears of a U.S. coronavirus outbreak. Live Person ( LVPS) is among a handful of companies that Stocks Investment Letter Morning Brow identified to rise despite the broader market sell-off.

“ LivePerson is a Stay-At -Home stock and could rise because of the Virus fear and despite the broader market sell-off. The company offers LiveEngage, an enterprise-class and cloud-based platform, which enables businesses and consumers to connect through conversational interfaces; and Maven, a robust artificial intelligence engine for conversational commerce. It also provides professional services and value-added business consulting services”

TEN RATIONAL REASONS TO BUY LPSN BELOW $40

    1) Hedge funds crashed the price by 35% to accumulate this cheap LPSN shares
    2) LPSN beat both earning and revenues . The earning guidance was bad but it could be designed intentionally to allow hedge funds accumulate cheap shares below $30
    3) The new CFO has a PHD from MIT and is specializing in AI software. He will bring AI science of MIT to LPSN
    4) 35% haircut in 2 weeks is unjustified for slight lower guidance
    5) P/S of 5 much less than FIVN (16) and other automated customer service companies
    6) P/B of 12 much less than FIVN (27) and other CR companies
    7) LPSN has virtually zero debt (198M) compared to FIVN debt of 223M and other automated CS companies
    8) Institutional ownership of 97% will buy more shares after 35% haircut in 2 weeks
    9) Market cap 1.8B much less than FIVN (4.8B) and other automated customer service companies
    10) 1.8B market cap is micro cap for hedge funds and could be easily manipulated by hedge funds.
