Description

Lion Copper and Gold Corp., a mineral exploration company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of copper projects in the United States and Canada. The company holds 100% interests in the MacArthur and Yerington properties; and the Blue Copper prospect comprising approximately 7,430 acres located in Powell County, and Lewis and Clark County in Montana. It also holds an option to earn a 100% interest in the Bear and Butte Valley properties located in Nevada; a 90% interest in the Groundhog copper prospect located to the southwest of Anchorage, Alaska; holds a 100% interest in the Chaco Bear property located in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia; and the Ashton property located in Lytton, British Columbia, as well as holds a 100% interest in the Wassuk property that consisting of 310 unpatented lode claims and totaling approximately 6,400 acres located in Lyon County, Nevada. The company was formerly known as Quaterra Resources Inc. and changed its name to Lion Copper and Gold Corp. in November 2021. Lion Copper and Gold Corp. was incorporated in 1993 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
