3 question to consider before buying JETS.
    1. Have you been in an airport lately? Are you aware they are packed with people and number of flights have crossed pre-covid?
    2. Have you seen flight prices? Have you seen the huge increase? Don't you think it covers the gas increase with a change for shareholders?
    3. Long term, don't you think people will keep flying?

Bonues question: Does it make sense we are in pandemic prices level?
Question - No it doesn't, see you at 30$ 2 years from now.

    787 deliveries may resume soon

On the production side, Boeing is still shackled by its inability to deliver 787s until the Federal Aviation Administration approves its plan to inspect and fix the fuselage defects on those jets.

That burden, however, is likely to be lifted in the coming weeks.

According to an FAA official close to the process, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the information is not public, the safety agency recently accepted Boeing’s recertification plan for the 787s.

The FAA has asked Boeing to deliver a few extra items of test and analysis before the plan is final, but they won’t require it to be resubmitted, the person said.

Planes and airports have been packed over the past 2 months... this seems like a screaming buy.
If JETS cant make money during this period they're in trouble.
  • R
Air travel has got to get more enjoyable. Airports are busy yes, controlled chaos, no.

Instead of duty free stores maybe therapy groups!
  • k
what's reason for recent weakness, market is 2% you would expect JETs to go up by 3%, instead under 1%? Other then that I bought some shares. four months or so ago, I had bought for $20 and sold for $16.5 on bad looking market, Got in at $17 to recover my loss.

Investors will rotate into airlines again, have patience. Major bullish catalysts are coming in July..
-Data is showing July 4th weekend will break post-pandemic TSA travel numbers by a decent margin.
    - United States will loosen international travel restrictions in July or early August.
    - Highly anticipated airlines earnings mid July.
    - Transatlantic routes will most likely open end of July as UK reopens
    - July on average is the busiest travel month of the year.
    - Increase in oil prices are being countered by higher demand for tickets and ticket prices.

A few days ago, U.S. Global Jets ETF was believed to have said that it secured $252 million from the U.S. Treasury as a portion of a Payroll Support Program Extension Agreement plus a grant of about $206 million. Check the disclaimer on the landing pages. On the other hand, these other companies appear to be one of the “most undervalued” assets according to Elliott Management’s Paul Singer, yet it could excite you for the gold rush! JETS is the type of ETF we should buy on the down days, and not buy on the waves up. Don’t chase this one. It may take many many months before the public has the trust that they won’t get infected on an airline. Currently picking up shares on this down turn and looking long term for the gains

The risk to reward for airlines at these levels is amazing, incoming catalysts below:
    - Massive influx of demand on November 8th as international travel ban is lifted by the US
    - Holiday season demand will be higher than usual as many weren't able to travel last holiday season
    - Oil prices have peaked short-term and is beginning to downtrend a bit
    - As demand increases pricing power of ticket prices will combat elevated oil costs.
