With copper prices down, worldwide supply increasing and recession looming this may delay Copperwood.

    Need reverse split

    *royalty program*

    1 mine
    2 assets producing

Def some red tape but huge assets with great inflation timing...to production........

must get done in 24 to 36 months then look out

    Nicholas grit.....
    opinion only.

that's funny. Reverse split when the sock is a dime. Let's make it a nickel so people can afford the stock. I am from Michigan and they are going to build both mines. The only operating mine in the area ( Eagle)is running out of ore and this will fill the void. Not much else going on in the UP. The community needs it and not even our liberal governor is going to stop it. She needs the votes. Now is a good time to buy for a dime. Next year at the opening it will be $0.50 and it will be a Dollar when they open white Pines. Good luck.

Looking forward to this event. I wonder if they may announce the feasibility study results beforehand.

Rough day for HI, down 16% but hopefully we see them bounce back – have been considering new opportunities in the markets after reading this article from SmallCapCanada, just a great overview of where things are heading – link to article https://smallcapcanada.com/articles/articles/as-china-is-restarting-coronavirus-caused-supply-disruptions-might-support-metals-prices-in-the-short-term

What does today’s announcement mean for future copper mining at Copperwood?

With excellent copper grades, low cap-ex, and nearby infrastructure that they can leverage it seems like the Copperwood FS to be published in April will likely be glowing and reflect a better IRR and NPV than the 2018 study. Towards that end, I believe that they may include some of the inferred resource base at the satellite deposits and find efficiencies with their Cu process flow sheet. My question is, how will they choose to finance Copperwood? Debt, equity, secured off take? Then of course there’s the much larger White Pine North as well. 2022 should be a great year for Highland! What do others think?

They have been extending the deadline for almost 7 years now. Is this actually about finances or Michigan’s political landscape? Why the hold up?

Any news on status of mine?

I have heard rumors of a 7$ million dollar grant awarded to build a road into the site for hauling ore. If that happens this stock will fly.
