Compound this stock monthly or even weekly and reap the rewards in 20 years. Excellent value at this price with its dividend.

Granite is my favourite, and only, REIT that I own. I initially bought GRT when it was trading at $75 over a year ago, and I never thought I'd see the share price crash back down to the 70s. This is a REIT with solid fundamentals, and I don't understand the irrational panic selling. I'm taking advantage of this discount, and buying as many shares as I can afford. Please keep panic selling your shares, and I'll gladly buy them off your hands.

VP just bought $350k of shares at over $95. This could not be a more obvious buy right now. All this company does is create/add value to their shares regardless of the price action

Cannacord reduced PT substantially from $115 to $105 this week. The worry is rising CAP rates.
    • Dream Industrial REIT (DIR.UN-T, “buy”) to $19 from $21. Average: $19.64.
• Granite REIT (GRT.UN-T, “buy”) to $105 from $115. Average: $110.27.

    so... what just happened?
I was thinking of starting a position at 95, forgot about the stock then it enters my radar with a -4% day... everything looks great about this company and a board member buying more stock is a good thing. so why the drop?

also yes I am buying 10 shares market open (they are pending)

Reason for today’s dip is due to below financing IOT make the 368M worth of acquisitions. Setting up for continued success! Best REIT IMO and an excellent time to buy more. The charts don’t lie!

The REIT and Granite REIT Inc. also announced they have entered into an agreement to sell to a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets and TD Securities Inc. (the “Underwriters”) on a bought deal basis 3,460,000 stapled units (“Units”) at a price of C$79.50 per Unit (the “Offering Price”) for gross proceeds of approximately C$275 million (the “Offering”). The REIT intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to fund the REIT’s acquisition pipeline, commitments under the REIT’s existing development projects and for general trust purposes.

More people need to see how powerful this stock can make your portfolio if you compound your position monthly. If you’re with TD- sign up with DRIP and add only $100/month for the next 20 years.
Or if you want to make it your cash cow retirement pick- hold this in your TFSA and make a monthly contribution of $500/month for 25 years. You’ll hit $6k a year, and reach 150,000 in 25 years. Have a spouse do it with you and boom, that’s 300,000 in 25 years.

    Compound this stock.
    Thank yourself in 25 years.

In the Globe and Mail today!
    * Mr. Markidis’s target for Granite Real Estate Investment Trust (GRT-UN-T +0.11%increase
) target to $94 from $90, topping the $93.50 average, with a “buy” rating, while BMO’s Joanne Chen raised her target to $95 from $89 with an “outperform” recommendation.

“Our positive view on the fundamental strength of GRT.UN’s portfolio remains unchanged following Q2/21 results. We expect the positive tailwinds to continue over the near term and for the REIT to further surface value via its development pipeline over the longer term,” said Ms. Chen.

I get that it's a great industrial portfolio but their revenue hasn't really grown much. Because of the pandemic everyone is just pouring money into industrial reits.

What a great company to own. The 78% institutional ownership says it all. I am sure a dividend increase will be announced in November for December payment, our usual div increase month. This is definitely one to hold and add when possible, then let it grow. Love my Granite!

Still one of my favorite REITs in Canada. Every REIT investor should own some Granite imo

If there is one company I would feel comfortable parking all my cash into - it would be this. You guys realize their last quarter earnings almost matched their entire earnings in 2020?

Curious if others are continuing to add to their positions in GRT at this time or if they are just holding. Worth it at the current price/valuation?

Initially purchased at $78 in April 21 since then there was never much of a chance to add more at any dips till now. Today finally added to my postion at $94.50. Pleasantly surprised by the opportunity. Wasn’t sure there would ever be a dip the way this reit was heading. Best Canadian growth REIT out there, the dividend is just icing.

Initiated a position today at $99.90 CAD. I was a bit worried about the huge run the stock has already had but the valuation is sooo cheap.... $9.38 earnings per share... :) long-term industrial space is a winner and they are diversifying out of so much Magna exposure which is reassuring. Incredibly, this is still a 3% dividend at current prices...

Looking to start a position in a REIT. From my research this is amongst the favourites of mine to start a position in. Any advice on if now is a good time to buy? Or to maybe lean towards another REIT for now?

    Thanks!
