It seems to me that GNT has had more exposure to gold while GNN has had a high exposure to oil.

Exited my position on Monday. Invested in GNT at inception. Not only did it underperform expectations, it also continued to punish shareholders with continuous cuts on payouts. Arguement during entire bull run was lack of volatility. Once we got it, it got slaughtered. Fees + underperformance + low payouts killed my initial investment.

Well, the dividends are good, so though it's down, it's cheaper for me to own shares. I think I will sell when it eventually goes up to say $6.50.

GNT, in their August announcement on their dividends, stated that they were going to a 10% dividend policy [$0.22/Qtr] starting in October. x-div 10/14, 11/11, and 12/09. My analysis data shows a [neutral] report card grade of 74....
