One important thing when it comes to crypto is to trade and not hope on price rising and falling. Bitcoin is the future, investing in it now will be the wisest thing to do especially if you are been guided by a professional. When CGI puts out something like the Puerto Rico article what they are not saying is that they are deeply rooted in the success in the form of a percentage of the savings, improved scale or operation. This aligns them with there customer's goals. I should say that they are typically vested. For me when an announcement does not mention a specific figure I assume that is the nature of the deal.

Also good to see these guys closing deals around the world. Even some of the larger SI and Consultancies don't have the same level of global reach. This is particularly important as some developing regions will drive at a fast growth rate.

Beats expectations! I hope to see the stock price increase a bit today. This company is undervalued.

Good result! They are also planning to buy back about 10% shares. Thats a lot

CGI Posts Q4 Earnings and Revenues Beat
2021-11-10 06:54:10 AM ET (MT Newswires)

Independent IT and business consulting services firms CGI (GIB-A.TO, GIB), trading near 52 week highs, reported Wednesday Q4 adjusted earnings of C$1.40 ($1.13) per diluted share, up from C$1.22 a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ forecast adjusted EPS of C$1.35.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was C$3.01 billion, up from C$2.93 billion a year earlier. The consensus estimate was C$2.97 billion.

"CGI ended fiscal 2021 in a strong position, with accelerating revenue growth and a robust book of business and balance sheet," said President and Chief Executive Officer, George Schindler. "Looking to the year ahead, we will accelerate our investments in the talent and capabilities necessary to expand our services and global footprint in support of clients' evolving digital transformations."

The market seems to have cooled on this stock. With the exception of Logica, their “buy and build strategy” seems to add a lot of employees (82,000 now) and very little to their revenue. They also continue to refuse to institute even a small dividend which I think hurts the stock value. Comments?

I have never understood why CGI does not get more respect from Canadian Tech investors. Unlike just about every other company in the Canadian Tech Sector, CGI is an actual business, with real profits, steady (if a bit slow) growth and a reasonable SP valuation. CGI is the only Canadian tech stock I want to own. The strength of the business is the reason why the SP has held up very well while the rest of the sector has gotten creamed in recent months. I bought more during the recent dip below $100 and am very happy to hold long term. Easy money!

Multiple analysts have upgraded their target price into the $130s. Next week’s earnings report will be strong and should produce a nice step-up in the SP.

Do people not read news? Two very positive stories from a company that does not push the media hard. Anyway, can see them making some real headway in the coming months.

The stock price has dropped a lot, is it a good time to get in at this price for the long term? 85.36?
