If we go sub $59CAD again I will load up big time. I’ve been rewarded every single time I’ve bought Fortis on a dip.

Is this still a buy at this price. Rookie investor started when covid hit made money from tech/chip industry pulled out in March and want to reinvest to protect my gains while making some dividend. Any advice ?

    Got in this morning.
Let’s check out where I’m standing in a month now.
Earnings call was promising - management knows their stuff, and the war in Eastern Europe made me go in for 3%+ divi and extremely low beta in this turbulent time.

Any long term investors speculating on a split at some point?

I don't have access to the report, but I saw this headline this morning: Wolfe Research Downgrades Fortis to Underperform from Peer Perform. Current inflation fears are not favourable to highly regulated markets that have a limited ability to pass cost increases onto the consumer. Also, the sentiment is that capital intensive industries, like utilities, do not perform as strongly in environments with rising interest rates. Some headwinds in the short-term but offers a good buying opportunity for long-term investors.

Guaranteed that every three months there's a multitude of posts asking "where's my dividend, did you get your dividend, how come you got your dividend and I didn't?" posts. Each and every quarter without fail.
