Former holder here, had to depart with ORAN and SNY shares over past month or two for tax purposes, wondering if every/anyone else had the same experience with withholding at greater than treaty rates, and if so did anyone send in the forms to recover the excess taxes, and if so any recoveries of the excess...? Soured me on French stocks a bit
only thing green today, good job
Solid company, very undervalued as a bond alternative due to its dividend. Stay long...
In US dollar terms AND accounting for French tax withholding, ORAN is a 4.9% yield at current ADR price.
not too shabby for a well run company with limited downside risk.
Why on earth hasn’t this company actually seen activity and growth in so long? I can easily see it’s value and influence in the world stage as a powerful business, and yet they have low volume and are highly undervalued, does anybody know why?
Once in a lifetime buying opportunity. 7%/year regular dividend + 2% special dividend + 25%-35% price appreciation in the long run. Like 👍
As a Canadian investor, I hold Orange at HSBC brokerage. High foreign tax cannot change the greatest of this dividend monster. During my exchange year in France, I was using Orange which has the best coverage and service compared to Free mobile. I was lucky enough to visit Orange headquarters and listened to CFO speech. This is a hidden Gem. A true Hermes in stocks
How big is the dividend and when is ex date?
Looking at getting in. Anyone in the USA fill me in on the foreign tax hit? I have 5 different brokers
Can anyone tell me what June dividend will be in US dollars for the ADR’s ?
And what percentage will my broker withhold for French taxes ?
thx in advance
Loading up again. With an average dividend of 10% a year after the 'foreign tax' and 'fee charged for ADR', ORAN is one of the best value stocks to own.
Very undervalued; should be trading in the $15 range. Keep collecting the nice dividend and stay long...
doesn't matter it's down a bit ... just hold on.... collect dividend.... let the stock perform with results (not by shorts)...
wonder why their other expenses were significantly higher this year? Does anyone have insight on this, thanks?
Finally, ORAN has posted a positive quarter despite France shutting down....again.
Growth in Africa and Middle East is finally happening.
Hope it is just the beginning cause it has been a rather long wait.
See ya at $20.00!!
Increasing my holding slowly. Quite negativ discussions on French stock forums about Orange, but that is name of the game.
An overlooked dividend stud, this company also has big growth ambitions bringing cell coverage to Africa. Could easily move up to $20 with a couple of good quarters and some more analyst coverage. Stay long...
Just buy at these low levels...... and keep cool. You will make a ton.... ORAN will eventually climb back on its ladder. Nothing to loose, as they pay dividend... not for you but for themselves ... You will eventually get it being a share holder.

Orange partners with APG for the deployment of an additional 1.7m FTTH plugs in Poland through a 50-50 joint venture valued at 605 million euros
Orange Polska announced today the creation of a FiberCo co-owned (50-50) with APG. This joint venture aims to support the rollout of fiber in Poland, in areas where access to very high-speed broadband infrastructure is limited or inexistent. The FiberCo integrates 2.4 million lines, including 1.7 million households that will be deployed over the next five years.
This transaction values the joint venture at 2,748 million PLN (605 million euros) following a competitive process aimed at seeking out a long-term partner. As a result, Orange Polska will receive 1,374 million PLN (303 million euros) from APG, of which 65% will be transferred on closing and the rest between 2022 and 2026 as the deployment plan advances.
