    $OXY conversation
Some days in the past; today's action( by greedy hedge funds and institutions) was called: PURE ILLEGAL MANIPULATION
    WHERE IS SEC??!!!!!!
    Short data: June17 ,2021

    Explanation about below data:
Vol: The total volume numbers of first hand shares which is coming into market for trading. It is different than total volume that you see in yahoo or elsewhere.Because in total volume one share can change many hands between traders. But original amount of coming shares and shorted shares are constant for day.

For Canadian Stocks the volume is just for US market.

If there was a stronger rotation from growth to value/recovery sectors, with this WTI price we'd be up 10%+ today.

“Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell is reviewing its holdings in the largest oil field in the U.S. for a possible sale, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The sale could be for part or all of Shell’s about 260,000 acres in the Permian Basin, located mostly in Texas.
The holdings could be worth as much as $10 billion, the sources said, on condition of anonymity because the talks are private.“

WTI back at 72. And the needle hasn't moved on this.

Multiple forces building against short hedges. They tried beating down oil futures which are now rebounding back to 72. Money beginning to leave big cap stocks and into energy sector. Now Opec stepping in to stop oil price shorting. Boom! their going to loose rest of year if they continue.

IMO we are in the early stages of a sizable breakout looking at the 3 month chart. We've broken out of the 80 resistance and is just consolidating a bit before the next move up.

Some dip from 92 is expected and normal. You weren't expecting a straight shot up to 100? My prediction from seeing this chart as well as the bullish news and trajectory for oil prices, we're headed there very soon.

Buying cheap shares all the way down. Demand busting loose rest of the year. Supply shrinking. Big money on the way. Life will be so good by end of year. Geddy up Fang!

Ryan in my mind hedges are not a huge issue, they are producing 50mbod extra in Q2 unhedged to compensate for the freeze, thats huge!. Next quarter production drops back down, but they have 20mbod less hedges that quarter. I fully expect Fang to hit close to $3 Eps this quarter!

Wow. I picked some up at 86 and thought that was good.

    are we surprised anymore really?

Ebroker and hedge partners showing everyone blatant disregard for honesty. Corruption on display. They've short covered over half million shares since market close and the sp hasn't moved a penny. No way that kind of trade action could be honest. Geddy up Fang!

Opec warned hedges Wed not to be betting against oil. Hedges thumbing their noses up to Opec now. Let's see who wins the battle. Hedges running dangerous bluff that they can't win against an opponent that can buy and sell all of them with pocket change. Watch the hedges struggle from the sidelines. All will be good as demand surges higher and oil heads to $100/barrel.

There is some decent volume today. Nothing extraordinary but there are some buyers. Maybe we will finally start to outperform once again.

WTI just passed 70 bucks a barrel. These oil stocks have got to break loose soon. How much longer can they stay stagnant! They are all printing money 💰 💴 💵

With the exception of 3 months in 2018, we are now at a 6 year high for oil. Fang is basically at a 6 year low excluding 2020 covid time. Go figure that one. But frankly this is an income stock, so until they increase dividends to at least a buck and give 5% at current prices, there will probably not be too much interest from new investors.

crude now about to be pushing 71. I don't see how all oil and gas stocks are t higher today.

Before everyone starts to panic look at where you were on Monday. You did buy a stock with a huge beta! Logic says this has to keep climbing but it might be bumpy. Summer driving, economy opening, and plane flights will drive fuel higher. If nothing else, this President shutting down whatever he can will drive the price up. He has to, to make wind and solar economically feasible.

    Quiet board today.

What would surprise everyone especially shorts would be a decisive jump over the next couple days breaking above the $92 resistance and ending the week above $95. Very possible given the positive sentiment, eia report on supply draw down, and heavy demand for oil predictions for 2nd half of year and 2022.
