ESG Global Impact Capital Inc., formerly known as Block One Capital Inc., is a venture capital and private equity firm specializing in early stage, growth capital, debt and equity investing. The firm does not invest in distressed situations, turnarounds, and seed investments in start-ups. It only seeks minority stakes. The firm typically invests in the following sectors: wellness and healthcare; business services and logistics; education and training; and emerging technologies. It seeks to invest in companies that have capital requirement between CAD 0.25 million ($0.26 million) and CAD 2 million ($2.04 million) and have Asset to Revenue ratio of less than 40%.
