Domino have to jack up their price to fight inflation..
J
What's good entry point for this?
D
still doesn't look cheap....I think the slide will continue....

Going to be a weak 2Q....their best marketing push was $3 off for carryout and now they're on to...don't buy one $6.99 pizza...buy 2 and microwave the 2nd one in the morning?? Pretty weak...getting out-marketed by Pizza hut now...getting desperate much? Glad I sold @ $400 will re-buy much lower...
C
picking up more now that it has bottomed out at fair market price. Always buy the dips.
C
Buying Dominos pizza is cheaper then going to the store and buying almost anything else. A package of Bacon is $8.00. How many is that going to feed?

With everybody returning to work, school and going out, things are getting back to pre-pandemic. They are not stuck at home watching Netflix, playing video games and ordering Dominos. Restaurants are open for maskless and no vaccine proof indoor dining and people are back to socializing and traveling.
Domino's revenues, while they were still up last quarter already showed signs of slowing. This quarter the slowdown will be more pronounced and there's a very good chance of them falling well below the previous quarter.
When you also consider the high spike in inflation, going forward people will be cutting back on all spending, including outdoor dining, take-out/delivery. They will cook inexpensive meals that go a long way. That means more rice, potatoes, beans, chicken , spaghetti, ramen and pb&j.
If they're like me they've put on alot of weight over the pandemic and now are looking to lose weight and are cutting down on the pizza.
Finally, many are opting for supermarket frozen pizza. Its half the price, quicker to make, no tax, no tip, no delivery fees and the quality is acceptable or better in comparison to Domino's.
When I go out and get the craving for pizza, i dont look for a Domino's. I go to a REAL italian pizzeria.
So dont be surprised to see a big drop in revenue and a lowered forecast for the rest of the year.
V
would be nice to see this go under 100 and scoop up for the long term

C
Now we know where the bottom is. Way oversold and will start buying again.
