    $COST conversation
Best stocks to own during a recession = $DLTR, $DG, $COST. You guys ever been to Kroger stores ($KR)? Their prices are hella expensive. As prices go up, people will ditch those expensive stores and head to Costco. Why would you pay $10 for something you can get for $8????

DLTR looks like it is about to drop. Be careful guys. I have been reading (http://Achieverspot.tech) and their stocks have been doing way better.

Stocks sold off Monday, pushing the S&P 500 to a fresh 2022 low and back into bear market territory, as recession fears grew ahead of a key Federal Reserve meeting this week.

This is beginning to look like a near-term $200 stock. People are really ditching the Targets, Walmarts, and Costcos of the world for dollar stores.

Too much shoplifting. I was in a DLTR today. There is evidence of shoplifting on all the shelves. People take pills out of packages. People pop open apple juice and drink it there in the store.
It is going to get worse and worse.

Shoplifting is going sky high. We need to move to $1.50 now to offset the losses.

Looks like it is going higher and higher as expected.

This will probably close around $150 all these large earnings pops drift back through out the day.

From $165 to $150. DLTR is predicting a long Bear market. Scary.
This stock should not be going down.

While tech stocks tank, consumer staples like DG and DLTR will either rise or not move much. Decided to sell some $130 puts expiring Friday. Sold 20 contracts for $12k (~$6.00 per). Even if they don't meet or guide lower, the stock won't move much or possibly move higher (a la DKS that jumped 10%). Looking for a quick trade and pocket $12k.

Dollar General is up $19 in the last 5 days. DLTR is up $5. At some point it will catch up.

Ask a cashier about DLTR shoplifting.
