A true total return fund!
Very few of them in the closed end universe(See ASG, USA). You get a consistent dividend in the 8% range with some decent price appreciation. In the last decade the stock has gone up an average of 5% per year.
If you reinvest those dividends into more shares you will double your shares in 10 years and with that kind of price appreciation it makes for a fantastic total return with a reasonable amount of risk.

All hail the distribution increase !! I didn't see it coming, but sure like the news. I do think the price is going to stay near the asset value, which is proper, but we will likely close the small gap between share price and asset value, very soon. Possibly tomorrow.

What other CEF pays 7.99% at today’s price? Virtually no ROC (return of capital).
