Bought a bunch yesterday after spending time going thru earnings report. They smoked on revenue. Profit was down mainly because of a contract they inherited from an acquisition that cost more due to Covid. That contract is now ending. Still made a profit even with all that. Will be buying more

Long this is a term buy and hold stock.
The fundamentals look great with the resurgence of commercial air travel and unfortunate wars around the world. Simulators are needed for both industries.
Plus they have simulators for the health care industry as well.
Plus they are one of, if not the world leader in what they do

Horrible, how can they have not warned if they knew they were going to miss by such a huge margin

CAE looks oversold at 20.25. Bought the dip. Premarket it was 22-22.20

Lost of 1.5B market cap for a 22M charge! I hope they have learned their lesson.

Very bad report. Yes. But the magic word for long term investor is the backlog which is growing like crazy. After this temp issue with labor chips etc it will recover nicely. May be time to buy and keep.

Earning bad, but fundamental is still strong. Airlines are very busy agains.

Been a good couple days. With the resurgence of air travel, the large amount of retraining that will be required by pilots, and their acquisitions, CAE is going to fly (excuse the pun)

Just for everyone's knowledge, CAE is not only into air sector but also health & security. CAE has developed and supplied ventilators to Canadian government. So, its gonna stay atleast around 21 and might go up slightly. But yes, once the planes start flying (doesn't matter for CAE - if they are half full or packed), CAE will make money.

Very underappreciated growth stock. Buy and hold long term. Watch your money grow.

analysts love this company. I think it's definitely less risky than airlines, but with some upside when aviation recovers

We could see the dividend reinstated sometime in the next couple quarters. It was 0.44/year which would be about 1.4% yield at the current price of 31.5. It may be lower though, who knows.
