Gird your loins. We are just about to turn into December which, if on schedule, is the timing planned for release of the upgraded Maricunga DFS report. Certain to get some acquisition attention and sp value bump.

Bidding wars becoming common. US$400million offer by Lithium Americas for Millennium Lithium. 17% of Millennium equals US$68 million x 1.23= Can$83.6 million . That equivalent value calculation suggests the mkt cap of BRZ should be in the range of Can$83.6 million and sp0.90 Can$ ie a triple from here based on 92.7 million shares outstanding. And Maricunga will attract a higher multiple because it is much further advanced than Millennium and an upgraded DFS about to be released in Dec.

The NPV of the Maricunga project keeps rising. BMI's assessment of the lithium carbonate price in China shows a jump of more than 300% over the last year to $28,675 a tonne in mid-October due to supplies falling short of stronger-than-expected demand.

Here's a bit of terrific news - The Ministry of Mining published in the Official Gazette the decree that establishes requirements and conditions for the exploration, exploitation and benefit of deposits of the mineral substance.
With the objective of increasing the development of the lithium industry in Chile, the Ministry of Mining decided to call a public, national and international bidding process , in order to allow the exploration, exploitation and benefit of lithium deposits.

The measure was published today in the Official Gazette and specifies that it intends to strengthen the country's strategic participation in international markets, which are in a projected growing demand for this mineral substance.

For this, contracts will be signed for a limited duration of 29 years and a maximum quota of 160 thousand tons of lithium. In addition, the document indicated that marketable metallic lithium extraction quotas will be granted that "will materialize through the signing of the corresponding special lithium operation contracts."

The Ministry of Mining will select one or more contractors to develop the exploitation of the mineral . The tender will have a total of 400 thousand tons of marketable metallic lithium, divided into five individual quotas of 80 thousand tons each. In this way, participants may be awarded only two quotas, which is equivalent to a maximum of 160 thousand tons.

Within the conditions established by the decree, there is the impossibility of dividing, selling, assigning or transferring the lithium rights . As stipulated in the decree, "they may not be the subject of a contract after they are granted and, to carry out a transfer to a third party, this must be authorized by the Ministry of Mining."

""90 Per Cent Increase in Measured & Indicated Resources for MSB Maricunga Stage One Lithium Project"". In theory that should leverage increased economy of scale and more than double the project value when the updated DFS is released next month.

A good and recent Due Diligence report on the Maricunga project can be found at.....https://lithiumpowerinternational.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Lithium-Power-ABID-Report-02Sep21.pdf
According to that report, assuming the upgraded 43-101 and DFS come in as expected, it will result in a significant upward move in the share price.

Cannacord's latest research report on Maricunga includes the following quote, ""confirming the project's ranking as one of the highest grade, undeveloped lithium brine Resources globally, based on our research."" And further suggests the updated DFS report based on this latest resource upgrade due in Dec 2021 will likely be the catalyst to get the offtake and financing deal with Mitsui confirmed in early 2022.

The market cap of Neo-Lithium at the offered price of Cdn$6.50 per share is Cdn$919 million. 17% (equiv to BRZ's ownership of Maricunga MSB/LPI is Cdn$156 million. BRZ's current market cap is Cdn$23 million. Therefore, simply applying the Neo-Lithium valuation to BRZ share price results in a 7 bagger awaiting ....and we are much further advanced so the valuation should be that much higher.

Xinjin Mining of China just acquired Neo Lithium and its main asset the 3Q Project in Argentina for $6.50 per share ( US$737 million) cash. Neo-Lithium was at the PFS Prelim Feasibility Stage, not as advanced as Maricunga. They are located 30 km from the Chile border not far from Maricunga. Zijin's offer to acquire Neo Lithium comes just two weeks after another Chinese company - Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd. (CATL) - offered $377 million for Vancouver-based Millennial Lithium Corp. Millennial's main asset is also in Argentina. CATL previously acquired 8% of Neo-Lithium. CATL is the worlds largest manufacturer of EV batteries. The competition is heating up.
