With US manufacturers looking to diversify their supply chains away from China, they may turn to their neighbour in Mexico to build out additional manufacturing capacity. Also CP's merger with KCS means easier movement of products across the 3 countries . With these thoughts in mind, I see the banking environment (Pacific Alliance) for BNS benefiting from the increase economic activity.
No anxiety investing
BNS is a forever hold. A great stock however it has underperformed its big 5 peers recently. Check out this review on them, enjoy
When will banks be able to increase their dividends? Would be great to see BNS increase a couple cents.
Today being ex dividend date, if you buy today will you receive the dividend.
If a bank can make money in low interest rates, Imagine when they start to rise :)
Sitting on a 34% gain as I bought at 58. Should I sell?

hi everyone, I just bought into Scotia and I'm super excited for the dividend and to watch bank stocks soar on the pandemic recovery.
Best bank stock in Canada and maybe the world.
Why’s would people be selling this like a week out from ex dividend?
Will this reach $79 ?
Man this stock is such a tease, always edging toward $80… then nope! Lol
This has it all, Growth, Value, international exposure, low commercial real estate exposure, growing dividend, and is only going to benefit from rising rates.
Dividend is ,90$ / share or not ?
The Government will allow the Canadian banks to announce dividends again shortly. The budget is a priority but before the third quarter or July 31st they will allow dividends again. All the banks have a huge excess of capital over and above the requirements so get ready for special dividends and dividend increases.
as long as interest rates slowly rise and more stimulus hits the markets. my God i can't imagine once banks are allowed to use the 56BILLION+ to buy back shares and increase dividends
Will BNS be subjected to short squeeze? With the dramatic recovery, BNS can go up immensely
Time to buy
I already own TD, besides that should I invest in BNS or RY or BMO?
