I don’t know what I would do without the help of (http://alert-sounds.com/). Their watchlists are so well researched and help me make the best possible picks when it comes to investing. Not only do they save me time, but their advice has shown to be tried and true!

@Joe. Talking about acquisitions, $BHP looking at $NTR the potash fertilizer company? Have they tried this before? Nutrien lost their CEO recently

All you Reddit newbies, Nickel is in actual shortage in London & Shanghai exchanges...you'll find #VALE 2nd biggest holder and they actually make annual earnings. #BHP is #4 in Nickel resources, but it's probably too expensive for you guys :-)

#BHP taking 8.9% of Tanzanian nickel mine, with option to increase to 17.8%. Nickel prices hitting monthly highs and inventory is low. Only 5% of Nickel used for E.V. batteries (most used for stainless steel). Nickel use for batteries expected to rise to 35% by end of decade. Shanghai price today: $24,300 ton. London: $20,900 ton.

Analysts target $59 so they are not hopeful or can see the upside. If they don’t we are looking at hype at this price

Where does the talk of a 9% yield come from? Yahoo historical data shows around $2.40 per share the last few years, which is only about 4%. Is that information incorrect?

Wow what a great day it was. I've got a good portion of my IRA in BHP and PBR, high dividend and low PE purchases, and both killed it today. $$$ Glad to see natural resources making a big leap here, no doubt with patience there will be more to come!

Copper miners in Chile are running out of water slowing production. #BHP built their own desalination plant a while back. #TGB doesn't have such problems.

Nickel up 5%, up $1,000/ton today. #BHP 4th biggest nickel holder in the World. Copper holding strong around $4.50. #VALE #2 in Nickel holdings. do your own due diligence.

    Yamana Gold Inc.
I bought #BHP at $12 almost 2 decades ago. Their dividend per year is more than Yamana stock price and has bought me essentially free shares. I own Yamana in a Roth for past 15 years, but oh my, the difference between the 2 companies is just staggering....just in the management sense. In the meantime I've acquired South32 shares and soon Woodside petroleum. There's great competent run companies, then there's total disasters.

Look for article: "The World's largest nickel mining companies" Dec 26th. #BHP comes in 4th, #VALE is #2. gl

I caught all kinds of hecfinite. the Serbia mine being finito. That didn't take long for conclusive ending. #RIO still a buy on sell-offs in my opinion. Perhaps #BHP will make a bid for them now. Be good for a friendly merger, though it may not pass anti-monopoly regulators.

BHP partnering with CNC - I could totally see that. Mark just announced that a partnership deal is delayed into Q1-2022. That coincided with BHP pulling out of the Noront bid. You wonder. And BHP moved their North American HQ to Toronto earlier this year as Canada emerges as a new clean-tech mining hotspot.
It's clear they want to expand their engagement in new Ni sourcess.
