Alexander you’re 100% correct they’ve been doing the right thing for almost 2 years now this stock should be trading well into the seven Dollar range I have been with this company and a believer of this company since 2015 I have shares that I purchased as low as three dollars and still hold

Multiple quarters of improvement. Balance sheet is improving. Payout ratio is only 10% which leaves room for a dividend increase. Emerged from dark days and yet, it is trading at book value. What more could possibly be the catalyst?

With all the positive talk about BDI over the last couple weeks I didnt expect to see a slide like today and yesterday. Any insight as to why?

  • B
Expect improved result. at least 10 percent hump
  • f
is this a good long term investment?
  • B
Earning is $9.5 million, up 76% from $4.1 million is only the start, judging from other servicing companies, BDI is poised to dramatically increase in earning considering all the backlog

A year from now, you will look back on this price and wonder why you didn't buy it. There is nothing wrong with management as they have been very conservative with investment and use of capital but still maintain a 40M+/yr ebitda and a positive outliook despite an Alberta meltdown (where, originally, most of their business was). Thay have diversifed their offering both geograhically and they types of products, and also have a golden egg in LodgeLink which has gone relatively unnoticed. LL is an online market for workforce housing (which is like Expedia for workforces - much more complicated than personal or even business travel) and is a SaaS offering - which is all the rage in the IT space.
They also have a lot of business in the Trans Mountain Pipeline and LNG areas which are finally starting to ramp-up.

From what I can gather, the selling has been the result of some institutional which will pass soon and the SP will bounce back up because anyone who looks at trading from a technical point of view, this is way past being oversold.

This is nuts, a company trading at 2x ebitda, 1/3 or less of the realizable asset value (why do you think the banks gave them this new asset-backed line of credit!).

    Time to buy!
