Although not a technical guru, I hope ATZ closes close/higher than 45.88$ CDN.
    Awaiting October results..
Buy on dips, take a small profit on increases, increase position slightly, have patience till rates stop increasing. IMO no new 52 week highs until interest rate increases stop.

Visited the 3 week old, 15,000sqft aritzia in Winnipeg today. There wasn’t lineups at the cashier like there are in Vancouver. However traffic was mediocre. Talked with a staff member saying they are drastically understaffed and are flying in working help from Vancouver and Toronto. Did end up spending $700 between the gf and mother today though. 👍

"RBC Dominion Securities’ Irene Nattel bumped her ATZ target to $53 from $52, maintaining a “sector perform” rating*. The average is $57.43".

IMO, this may have caused the bump to a drop over 50$ before the inflation numbers on Tuesday. Good news, ATZ is settling close to the 50.8 peak before its previous downturn. Hoping for good news and a similar move to LULU, when earnings are released in October.
For now, my view is continue buying on dips, sell a bit on pops. steadily build a position until we see a NASDAQ listing and a stop to increasing interest rates,

Thanks Rajan, Eddy, Jin, Roxy and others for your continued comments on the board. As Aritzia continues to grow and keep a steady price, we see Abercrombie touching new 52 week lows and both American Eagle and Gap coming close. It appears to me that both Canada and the US will see tougher times in the fall. Hope ATZ, has decent earnings in October and this warehouse sale reduces inventory. Hope, we come to the end of this interest hike cycle, early in 2023. At that time, If stocks start a sustained rally, and ATZ's stores in Chicago and New York get rave reviews, imo. we will see both a Nasdaq listing and new highs in 2023.
Hope we are still commenting and have something to add on this board, whether positive or negative, as ATZ gets more play time in the vast US market.
For now imo, its buy and hold on weakness.
BTW, its sad that angry Katie, stopped posting. She's missing all the comments from people who care rather than just dream.
    Good luck to all holders.

    Positive comments from Stifel today.
It is my opinion that Stifel is basically an American investment shop. If so, they are also IMO, one of the first to write about ATZ.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
As I've said before, I envision a NASDAQ listing in 2023. Could Stifel be taking the first step in competing to handle the IPO?
    All knowledgeable comments are appreciated.

AEO new 52 week low, copying AFN. LULU made a nice move up after release of its earnings. What does this tell us about retail? IMO, the wealth gap increasing. Hope ATZ follows LULU's example in October. Having their US stores in successful malls, certainly helps. However increasing interest rates continues to hinder.
Comments are appreciated. If possible, a list of retail listed competitors.
Follow Jin's approach. Buy on weakness. Sell a bit of the purchase on strength. Keep a position into 2023.

Lulu earnings are fantastic. No slowdown in consumer spend for the medium tier luxury cohort on their end. Aritzia likely in a similar boat.

I visited the San Jose Aritzia tonight (Monday night ~ 6:30pm) and the store was a single floor and somewhat busy. It was about as busy as the Zara next door and more busy than the LuluLemon. It was unfortunate that I couldn’t visit at a busy time. The store is organized and has quite a bit of inventory.

As much as I love to see our beloved ATZ pump. I feel that with economic headwinds ahead of us will pull back the price. Have dry powder on hand to scoop the yummy dip

Can't pump forever and can't drop forever. Just zoom out of the chart to 5 years on any good company. Holdd

Lulu shares popping in after and early morning trading. Uniqlo at the lower end of the scale set for first-ever North America profit.
    ANF, Gap and AEO slipping..
Hope we see a bounce similar to Lulu in October. Next week should be a telling story for Canadians as the BoC meets on Wednesday.
    Have a good weekend all
