Description

Amex Exploration Inc., a junior mining exploration company, acquires, explores, and develops gold and base metal projects in Canada. It holds 100% interests in the Perron gold project that consists of 116 mining claims covering an area of 4,518 hectares situated in Rouyn Noranda, Quebec; the Eastmain River gold properties, which consists of 135 claims covering an area of 7,102 hectares located in the Eeyou Istchee Territory of Baie James, Québec; and the Cameron project comprising 263 claims covering 14,743 hectares area situated in Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Quebec. It also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Gowan property covering an area of 256 hectares located in the Kidd Creek Mine, Timmins. The company was formerly known as Coleraine Mining Resources, Inc. and changed its name to Amex Exploration Inc. in September 2001. Amex Exploration Inc. is based in Montreal, Canada.
