    Really good earnings. Ahold Delhaize is a really solid company. Seems a little overextended right now though at ~28 euros. Ahold Delhaize knows this and is holding back on their share buyback program.
    Sold a portion of my shares and will buy back if this goes lower. Again, great company.

    On a positive note, at least share buy backs are being realized at a discount - a long-term plus.
    Quarterly comps are where the strain is now. Patience is indeed a virtue.

    Just in case this is the company that owns Food Lion, they have the worst web page ever especially on an iPad. Whoever is being paid to be in charge of the web page is money being thrown out of the window. Such a large chain of stores and web pages food prices unviewalbe .

    Ik werk bij de Albert Heijn als vakkenvuller (ben 16J), ik dacht dat het wellicht fijn is om mijn inkijk te geven naar de verwachtingen. Sinds maart is het veel drukker dan verwacht en dat is ook te zien aan de koers. Tot vorige kwartaalcijfers werd het alweer wat minder druk (en dat valt ook te zien aan de koers. Alhoewel dat voornamelijk aan de hoge pensioen lasten te verwijten valt) echter merk ik zelf dat het misschien wel weer net zo druk is als in maart, in het magazijn staat het bom vol en de leidinggevende zijn 24/7 opzoek naar mensen die extra kunnen werken vanwege de topdrukte. Mijn leidinggevende had verteld dat er dagelijks zo?n 10k#$%$ extra omzet per dag is, wat uitgerekend in ons filiaal zo?n 20% stijging is van de wekelijkse omzet. Ik denk dus dat er een trendbreuk zal plaats vinden in de koers. (Ook zijn alle filialen langer open, alhoewel ik niet zeker ben of dit wel zo winstgevend is op het moment in ons filiaal ).

    1/3 is Albert Heijn in the Netherlands. They are expending big, also to Belgium. The population grows, so is the demand for food. For each share you have aprox. #$%$80 revenue. In todays market not much. LETS GO.
