HPQ Silicon Inc., together with its subsidiaries, provides silica and silicon-based solutions in Canada. In addition, the company engages in developing the PUREVAP Quartz Reduction Reactors, a process to transform quartz into silicon metal; and the PUREVAP Nano Silicon Reactors, a process to make the nano silicon materials from silicon chunks. Further, it is involved in developing a plasma-based process that allows direct quartz to fumed silica transformation; and planning and construction of a micron-sized silicon-based battery material production line.
