Volvo has announced a program named "Drive Me" that will see 100 self-driving cars hit the streets of Gothenburg, Sweden, by 2017. Those 100 vehicles will be manned by 100 real, hand-selected Volvo customers, in an effort to gain real-world data to evaluate the effects of mass autonomous vehicles on a 30 mile stretch of public roads.
