The top 15 cheapest places that Canadians can fly to

Would you be surprised if we told you that it was cheaper to fly to an international destination than one here in Canada? Well, the folks at Cheapflights.ca have compiled a list, and there’s only one Canadian city in the top 15.

This year’s annual Compass Report for Canadian travellers ranks the 101 most popular destinations “in order of average airfare from six major departure points across Canada.” Those six are Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.

Only Halifax managed to crack the top 15 spots on the list, with most of the others going to American cities.
