Tom Ford outbids Jay Z and Beyonce for $50M Beverly Hills mansion

Despite having a song named after him by Jay Z, fashion designer Tom Ford didn't hold back in a bidding war with the hip hop icon and his wife Beyonce over a Beverly Hills mansion.

According to the Daily Mail, Ford, who rose to prominence as creative director at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, offered up $50 million for the 14,000 square-foot, nine-bedroom home.
