This is how the world's richest woman lives: Christy Walton's Wyoming estate is for sale

Christy Walton of Jackson, Wyoming, was recently declared the world's wealthiest woman by Forbes, with a net worth of about $35.4 billion. Most of her holdings are in Wal-Mart -- she's the widow of store founder Sam Walton's son John -- and she beats out other members of the Walton family, three of whom take up the spots immediately below her on the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans.

Walton, coincidentally, just listed her six-bedroom, 8,600-square-foot Wyoming estate (with a bonus century-old cabin), according to Trulia. It's by no means the most extravagant that we've seen, especially given her rarefied financial status. In fact, she's asking a mere $12.5 million -- or, to put that in context, less than a tenth the initial asking price of the nation's current most expensive listing, the $140 million Copper Beech Farm (recently marked down $50 million, the equivalent of four Walton homes, and yet it's still the nation's priciest). | By Jennifer Karmon, Yahoo Homes
