Many cities around the world have developed to the state of being prosperous. The UN-Habitat’s State of the World’s Cities report has listed a few cities which have very solid prosperity factors.
The report states that the urban power functions such as good governance, urban planning, laws, regulations and institutional frameworks ensure that no particular dimension of prosperity gains prevalence to the detriment of the others. More specifically, they feature high volumes of goods and services as well as strong economic fundamentals and high productivity.
