The coolest neighbourhoods in Canada

Real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield has ranked neighbourhoods in North America based on factors such as livability and retail flavour, residential rents, retail rents and demographics. When all taken into account, each neighbourhood was given a rating on the aptly named "Hip-O-Meter".

The ratings on the meter are: Edgy/Cool, Up & Coming, Prime Hipness, Still Cool But Going Mainstream, and Gone Mainstream (ew!).
