Photos: $59,000 Knox County poorhouse (then Bible college, then 'House of Nightmares')

The abandoned Knox County Infirmary, an imposing Gothic structure plopped down in the middle of rural Ohio, was better known as the local poorhouse. In the 1950s it was falling apart and closed down, but then a church bought and fixed it up as a Bible college. Most recently, it was staged as a haunted house -- becoming one of Ohio's premier Halloween destinations -- but it's been neglected for years. Now it's for sale at $59,000.
