American Express is branching out into the world of wearable tech with a little help from Prada. The Italian fashion house has designed a smart and elegant contactless bracelet for Centurion Card members, which will allow them to make purchases either by tapping or swiping in front of contactless terminals. The bracelet, handcrafted from Saffiano leather in Italy, features an embedded payment chip which is imperceptible to the eye, and marks Prada's first foray into the wearable tech market.
The Prada Centurion Wearable is rolling out to Centurion members across the globe from now.
