Yahoo Singapore
The People’s Action Party’s Murali Pillai wins the Bukit Batok by-election with 61.2 per cent of the vote, receiving 14,428 votes.
The Singapore Democratic Party’s Chee Soon Juan had 38.8 per cent of the vote, receiving 9,142 votes.
A total of 25,727 Bukit Batok electors were eligible to cast their vote at the by-election.
