This midcentury modern mansion made Meryl a mint
Beloved actress Meryl Streep just listed her midcentury modern estate in Los Angeles for $6.75 million. In February of last year, the Hollywood A-lister purchased the four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot manse for $4.5 million. Glassy and sleek, the house was built in 1954 by architecture firm Honnold & Rex as part of Arts & Architecture magazine's Case Study House program—which built cool, modern homes in the 1940s, '50s, and '60s. Besides offering maybe the best name-dropping opportunity of all time, the listing also offers interiors by L.A.-based designer Xorin Balbes, plenty of outdoor space, and a luxe pool area.
