Historical watermarks on new Canadian passports

In an effort to deter counterfeiters, newly issued Canadian passports will soon feature chip technology and historical watermark images. "Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird says the new passports will have computer chips embedded in them — technology that's already used in many other countries," CP reports. "Each blank page of the document will also contain watermarks depicting iconic images from Canadian history."
