Looking for last-minute Halloween plans? You might be in luck.

A mental asylum in Michigan has hit the market for $1.5 million.

While the space needs a lot of work, in its current condition it would be the perfect setting for a horrifying Halloween party.

Rumours have been circulating for years about ghosts, screaming former patients and jars of human body parts.

The Detroit-area asylum, was part of a hospital complex called Eloise, which is so massive that it had its own zip code, bakery and fire department.

In total, grounds have more than 76 buildings across 902 acres.
