Closing of the Only Unionized Strip club in the U.S.

San Francisco's Lusty Lady, United States' first and only unionized, employee-owned strip club shuts its doors on September 2rd after its landlord refused to negotiate on a lower rent. The club had operated in the North Beach neighborhood for more than 30 years.

According to reporting by the Guardian, landlord Roger Forbes, an owner of much real estate in North Beach, gave the dancers two weeks to vacate the property.
