Five weird and pricey bottles of water

We’re fortunate in Canada, in that most people have 24/7 access to clean, cool, unlimited fresh water at the flip of a tap. Of course, you wouldn’t know it by the acres of store shelf space devoted to bottled water.

It’s one of those things that probably drives the aliens batty as they watch us through their subspace scanners. Their minions are probably trying to set up a bagged-air depot as a ground base for the invasion.

But seriously, it’s a bit nuts. The bottled water market was valued north of $150 million USD in 2014. And what’s even more nuts are the lengths some people will go to to get really unique, expensive water that ultimately is basically… the same stuff we get from our taps.

In the spirit of amusing our future alien overlords, here are some weird water options you can shell out for the next time you feel like you want to flush money down the toilet.
