The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada released its annual list of best new cars being sold in Canada for the upcoming year Tuesday. Automotive journalists from across Canada test-drove all new and significantly updated car models.

The winning vehicles from each of the eight categories will go on to compete for the titles of Canadian Car of the Year and Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, February 2017.
