2017 Fiat 124 Spider: In Pictures

Winter may be coming, but Fiat already has plans for next summer—namely, the revival of the 124 Spider, one of the iconic names in two-seat convertibles. Unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show today, the modern 124 Spider arrives courtesy of Mazda, which lent the excellent chassis of the MX-5 Miata to Fiat. Originally envisioned as an Alfa Romeo, the 124 Spider instead carries Fiat-specific bodywork from its Italian designers, along with a 160-hp, 1.4-liter engine and either a six-speed manual or automatic. The first 124 sold will be special Prima Edizione Lusso models.
