You'll Want To Travel To Taiwan After Watching This

The island of Taiwan is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

After watching this video, tell me you aren’t dying to jump on a plane and explore every nook and cranny of this place, especially since there is free Wi-Fi for the whole island!

Not only is there readily accessible Internet everywhere you go and a high-speed rail, but an average ride on the metro will cost you not much more than $2. Now that’s cheap! It certainly seems appealing for those on a budget.

Taiwan has everything for everyone. There is a Barbie café for the young or nostalgic, the world’s best single malt whiskey of 2015 for whiskey lovers to sip on, a 24/7 bookstore for bookworms and even the whole town of Jiufen for movie buffs to awe over, which inspired parts of the Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film Spirited Away.

Your options of what to do in Taiwan are almost infinite. Did you know half of the island is made of mountains? Check out its many national parks, climb Mt KeeLung, an extinct volcano, be mesmerised by the shimmering Golden Waterfall or take a dip and admire the blue and gold endless warm waters of the Yin Yang Sea.

Taiwan is full of cultural adventures too. Experience the Lantern festival (15 days after the first day of Chinese New Year) in the small remote town of Pingxi or get in touch with your spiritual side while exploring historic Confucius Temples made in the 1800s.

The island is a mecca for foodies! But I won’t go into details about that. You may just have to figure it out for yourself.
